The S32cnc has a 175 mm center height and a maximum grinding length of 400 mm. Digital direct-drive X-axis features a travel of 300 mm at speeds to 15 m/sec and a linear measuring resolution of 0.0001 mm. Cast iron slide and cradle provide high vibration dampening and superior rigidity. Preloaded hydrostatic guideways ensure wear-free, stick-slip-free movement, highly accurate positioning and precise repeatability. Digital direct-drive Z axis travel is 485 mm. Speed and linear resolution are the same as X axis. The prestressed rigid cast slide is hydrostatically guided for maximum precision, and V and flat path guides are coated with abrasion-proof Granitan S200. Nubbed guideways and continuous lubrication are also available.The machine base of Studer-developed Granitan S103 delivers excellent vibration dampening.

A new model has been added to the GPS series CNC Cylindrical grinders. It's name is the GPH.
Handles have been added to the front of the bed for both the X-axis and Z-axis giving it an appearance just like a manual machine. You may think that we've just added handles, but the effect is quite amazing. A customer who has actually used the machine rejoices that the grinding of individual parts, precision grinding, and grinding to fit (custom grinding) right down to the micron level have all become so much easier.
