The long willowy neck of our lacquered hickory handle, combined with the gracefully tapered end, is simply a joy to hold. The 10" handle offers a marvelous sense of accuracy and control that "fat" handled hammers simply cannot provide. The brass head is double faced for delicate work and is securely blind wedged to the handle. The head measures 9/16" and 13/16" in diameter and weighs 3-1/2 ounces. We recommend using this hammer for those applications where you do not want to leave a strike mark (never use a soft face hammer for nails or brads).
